I have gained three new pairs of shorts in exactly a week!

I got one last Wednesday and yesterday I bought one and today,I got another one!I'm still coming back for at least two shorts!I just have a sudden re-appreciation for wearing shorts lately.

Yesterday,I was gonna submit something to my thesis mentor until one of my friends who are also under him told me that he is out of the country for a long time now.Gee,I'm so out-of-the-world lately.It's all my fault.

My iPod nano finally gave up on me.Well,not really the right term.It's still in good condition,it's just that with my musical taste growing lately,it cannot handle all the songs I like.8gb is really small.Now,I have to suffer and will have to sacrifice not listening to new songs as well as those I already downloaded.Too bad for me, I listened to some of them and they are really amazing,especially The Kooks.Fortunately, I was able to sneak in some of my new songs to my iPod:)

When delivered the news to my mom,she was surprised and she was upset at first,telling me that my iPod was still relatively new and all.I just had to tell her that I didn't expect that I'll fill it up so soon,and that's my fault actually.Fortunately,it's my sister's birthday tomorrow so what we'll do is give my old iPod to her then she'll get me an iPod classic that I want.I think I'll able to use that for a while.120gb...it's the biggest one right now.At least from the places where I've been asking.

So as I mentioned,my younger sister's bday is tomorrow.I think we're eating dinner somewhere in Serendra.I'm excited for the food:D I do hope some of my relatives are invited.It's gonna be totally boring on our own.Haha.

So today is Sunday.Exactly one week snce they left and I still have separation anxiety.But I'm kinda getting better,physically, at least.My stomach is not as bad as it used to be last week.

It's been really hot this past few days.Not like when they were here,it was almost raining everyday. Although today, when I went to mass, it started raining on my way home.It rained pretty harder in the afternoon.It stopped now but I am enjoying the nice cool breeze right now. Oh, the rain just started again.

Anyway,I wasn't able to say that one of the things I was influenced by my cousins is the kind of movies they like.You see, one of my cousins loves zombie movies so we have been watching some of them.Tonight,Doomsday will be shown on HBO and I wanna watch it.But still,slasher flicks are still my favorite kind of horror movies.

I've been trying to clean my room.I don't really know what to do with my old shirts.I have a lot that I don't use anymore and I can't give them to my younger siblings.I guess I could turn some of them to a pillow or maybe cut out those with nice designs.

Classes in Metro Manila has been suspended tomorrow because of the SONA.That means I have no classes again and I have had no classes for a month now since I haven't been to school for the past two weeks.I still have a lot to do though.:(

So I guess it's time to share what's been going on.

Well for the past three weeks, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually had one of the best 3 weeks of my life.I can't believe I said that.I always believed that I would spend the most happiest moments of my life with my friends,based on my relationship with my family members.I was wrong and I'm glad I was.

Several weeks ago,I was told that we were going to Cebu, all because they had to attend a wedding of my uncle.Then 3 weeks ago, I joined them in the trip since it was Cebu and I would really would like to go there.Then that's when I would find out that my relatives from the US were here for vacation as well.The day they arrived,which was the day before our flight to Cebu, I only got to see them during late in the evening so I didn't get to talk to them much because they were tired.And then the Cebu trip,which was good,as I blogged earlier in a previous post.

After the Cebu trip,we were going out a lot,taking the balikbayans to different malls,restaurants and places.We also celebrated our grandfather's birthday in a grand manner by putting a celebration in Puerto Azul in Cavite.We rented a big house with a pool and a nice view.Lots of relatives were invited and of course,delicious food is certainly a must in our family.It was a one-day event for our,*hmm,what's the term again?* "secondary" relatives, but for us,the "primary" family, we stayed there overnight.We had a stopover in Tagaytay on our way home to eat lunch then another stopover in Paseo de Sta. Rosa for a snack.

The entire family also decided to rent a studio and since most of my uncles were photography lovers, we took a family portrait of ourselves,and of course, a lot of family pictures.Pictures I have yet to grab hold of as of this writing.But I've seen the soft copy already.I hope my uncle sends it to me.We decided to be color-coded and we all wore white tops and blue jeans for the event.

So aside from those 3 prepared events(Cebu,Grandpa's bday celebration and Family picture taking),the days in between were unprepared and we got to go to different places,in a way that I would feel like a tourist myself,although sometimes,I'll be the tour guide.

I was definitely full everyday from all the restaurants we've been eating.Whether it's just a fastfood like Jollibee which seems like a must for some weird reason, to restaurants like Amici,which I finally got to try when they were here.Yes,I'm so unlucky that it was just my first time to eat there even if I had my entire high school life to try it.Seeveral restaurants I remember eating were of course,Tender Bob's(how could we not eat in our own resto,haha),Pancake House(which coincidentally,their first and last restaurant where they ate in here in Manila,both the day of their arrival and the day before they left), Hotshots,Zong,PeriPeri Chicken,Conti'sSM MOA Foodcourt,Aling Tonya's in the dampa area of SM MOA,Chili's,Heaven and Eggs,Teriyaki Boy,David's Tea House,Cerealicious,Razon's(one of my uncle's favorites haha),Leslie's in Tagaytay,etc.

Me and my cousins got to play Laser Tag and it was my first time as well.We got to watch several movies including Transformers 3(well,just them cause I didn't join them since I watched it already), Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter 6.They also bought sevreral dvds/vcds and I would be sleeping over in Merville wheere they were staying and we would have dvd nights.We got to watch The Covenant,Fast & Furious,Resident Evil,28 Weeks Later,Land of the Dead,Dawn of the Dead and The Simpsons.

We attended church in the Magallanes church which was my first time since the new church was built.It was nice!We even saw Edu Manzano!haha.Two of my cousins got their haircut at Bench Fix Salon and they were amazed how many times they were shampooed.Haha.

Oh, and one of my cousins here in the Philippines has been diagnosed with cancer so we got to visit her.I do hope she recovers.She should.

We got to go to several malls as well.Shangri-la,Eastwood mall,Glorietta,Greenbelt,Rockwell,Market Market,Landmark,SM.Most of the time,me and my two cousins would stroll around on our own and I woul be their guide.But one of my favorite trips would be our trips to Greenhills.That was so much fun!I became their translator and the most fun thing is, I got to test my haggling skills, as I, became their personal haggler,which was a bit successful,though it still needs work,I was able to get us a bunch of shoes.Yes, myself included.I got a pair of Adidas,Lacoste and Diesel shoes.Hey, that's nothing compared to what they bought.My haggling also lead us into a very scary and funny experience as we encountered the lady in violet.Well, we call her by a different label but I wouldn't want them to find out about this blog if ever they might try to google the term so I'll just call it such.Let's just say that we got ourselves into a situation where the said lady/vendor wanted to "kill" us and really made it known out loud.Thinking of it now,it's hilarious but I feel scared now to pass by her.Haha.

I will definitely miss all the small but wonderful conversations we had,all those laughs and jokes thrown at each other.Makes me want to grow a little bit younger again and just forget about all this college shit.

I even got to accompany them when they were dropped off in the airport even though it was very very very early in the morning.That's how much they meant a lot to me.

Now that they're gone for several more years, which might take another 5 years like before, things are definitely getting tougher for me.Things are not yet falling back into the right place like they were before.I'm still not getting back to my routine.This week,I had two trips to the mall,and all it brought me was memories of them.I cannot believe that I'm just strolling the place all by myself,silently.How I wish I could visit them there!Unlucky for me,my US visa expired and my parents are sooooooooo lazy to renew it.Worse,I'm no longer a minor and I heard it's harder to get a visa.I don't even know what the process is.The last time I applied for one was when I was still young and my parents did all the work for me.I don't know if it can still apply,given the nature of their work.

Well,after they left,I actually created a facebook account just to keep in touch with them!hahaha.I also got a little influenced by my cousin's musical taste and I'm slowly opening my doors for new songs from another genre.In fact,I've downloaded tons of albums and my iPod is almost full which means I need a new one!haha.I guess several things have changed as well.I am now more into shoes,well not really buying them,just wishing they were mine.Haha.But seriously,I started liking some kinds of shoes that I didn't really notice before.I now like wearing shorts more than pants.etc.

Well enough reminiscing.I've had separation anxiety for the entire week and it's almost gonna be an entire week since they left and I'm probably the only one who hasn't gotten over it yet.My dad has a a flight there and he just left earlier.Doesn't help it go away knowing that he'll see them.Well he sees them every month sbut it totally sounds new from another perspective.Hey dont blame me.The last time I saw them was back in 2004 I think, and I didn't get to spend much time with them back then since I was still in high school.

Well now,my life is back to being boring.Just that person that everyone in the family is just waiting to graduate from college.No longer the person that shows a different aura during their presence.Well,that's normal for me I guess.

In attempt to change the mood, I watched a Cinemalaya film earlier this morning,just for the sake of watching one in case it's needed for our class.Haha.I got to watch Ang Panggagahasa kay Fe(The Rapture of Fe). It was a nice film though.Nice acting skills from the cast.After a quick meal at Jollibee after the movie,I went to Glorietta and got my haircut in Bench Fix.Just the same haircut,I just made it shorter since the hair won't stand anymore like it used to.

So that's about it.I'm kinda sleepy after writing this post and I don't wanna bawl after remembering all those memories.I will surely miss them.

Hello!

It's been a while since I've been able to post a blog.What can I say, this past 2-3 weeks have been busy but entirely fun for me and my family, especially since my loved ones from the US were here.

I would love to put down everything in detail but I'm kinda busy right now and I feel sleepy.I feel like I have a jetlag in my own timezone.Haha.

All I can say now is that separation anxiety sucks so hard!!!!I miss them so much already!!!!!

hey!I'm back in Manila.

Just got home yesterday from Cebu.

I absolutely had a good time in Cebu.It could have been better for me but I didn't regret going at all,especially since I'm with the best people in the world.Haha.

We were so many that we had to rent a big van just to fit us all.We really didn't get to go around and see a lot of places but we were able to visit some of them like the Magellan's cross,Lapu Lapu shrine,"Tabuan",SM Cebu,etc. We also got to swim in the hotel pool and on the beach in Shangri-la Plaza.I had my first attempt to skimboard.It was fun!Even though I fall all the time.

We stayed in Marco Polo.I didn't get to eat much Cebu delicacy so I really wanna go back.

I miss it already!Boo school for spoiling the trip haha

So I guess I'm really going to Cebu tomorrow.I'm a bit excited!I haven't been there since I was like 5 or 6 years old and I barely remember that trip. I haven't started packing yet though.I don't really know what to bring.It's been around almost 3 years since I rode in an airplane.

I was strolling around the mall last Monday and I've been looking around for pins/keychains.I couldn't really see a lot of them with good designs.I have been looking for them lately because I notice I lack accessories and all that.I'm really into colorful stuff right now.I ended up buying this pin in Papemelroti that says "I Love La Salle".LOL.oh, and a cute keychain from Landmark.

This once-a-week class can be hard on me.I don't get much allowance anymore to save money.I'll always rely on my mom.Not that I haven't relied on her before but this time,I can't save money because I only get it once a week.Not enough to save a lot.

I finished wtaching Bones season 4 as well as Nip/Tuck season 1 and I loved them.In fact,I already bought season 2 of Nip/Tuck and I'm having a marathon right now.I hope I finish it before we leave tomorrow.
