oh my gosh...i don't know how to start...
we had our recollection last night and it was so fun!!
we started to buy food for dinner at around 6 pm...but only some went to the grocery to buy the food...most of us played basketball/soccer/volleyball/billiards while waiting for the food...the food they bought was barbecue...so our meal consisited of bbq, rice, tuna and soup and orange juice...but the dinner however, started at around 9 pm because the cooking took so long....anyway,we had fun ball games while waiting....i got to play volleyball with my classmates and i also got to shoot basketball in some hoops...and i even got many number of shots!!i didn't know i could be good in basketball...haha...finally,i got to enjoy basketball because of this recollection..before the meal started,Fr. Vester told some important matters about the schedule and some good news about the graduation...we had the dinner fashioned in a "Last Supper" style...
then we were allowed to play basketball and go swimming until 12 mn...so i had another game of basketball and i went swimming...which was unforgettable...
finally, the recollection proper started in the Bosco Hall afterwards..
the mattresses were laid down so we could sit on them...we had a blast from the past as Fr. Vester showed us again a product of an activity we did during our last retreat in Batulao....he gave us our Manila paper with our drawings on it by group...he spread it out on the floor and we were asked once again to sit by groups because he reminded us that we'll never see them again...and he said some inspiring words that made some of us cry...
then we had another acticity which was synonymous with a previous activity we had during our past retreats but this one was way better...we were given ballpens and folders and the folders were passed around for us to write some good comments or messages about each other...but this was way better because we had longer time to do it and we really are inspired this time to make some change and really write something good about one another..but i don't really want to tell what i wrote and what was written but the messages written and those who wrote made me feel appreciated...the activity finished around 2 am...
we went to the convent afterwards without any footwear..we went to the small chapel where we had another similar activity called Lakbay Diwa where we use our wild imagination...then after that,we were asked to read the messages in the folder and i was really touched...i am surely gonna miss my classmates!!!
we were asked to put the folders in the altar one by one when we finish reading it and pray a short prayer for each other, after that,we touch the cross and put some Holy Water...Fr. then asked us to make some gestures toward each other to show peace or express sorry for each other..
we went back to the Bosco hall but we were asked if we would like to go to McDonalds and everyone agreed to go there so we had a mini walkathon by using a different route towards McDo...we ordered some food before we came back to school....the recollection officially ended and some of us slept while some went home and some spent the whole night awake...i,however,didn't expect that i'll fall asleep because there was limited cushions and i didn't get one,but fortunately,i found some friends to share cushions with..i slept at around 5 am and woke at around 7 am....i took a bath afterwards then proceeded to the graduation rehearsals for the day...
we were asked to sleep for the two periods after recess because everyone lacked sleep and it was shown in the peformance of the class during the morning..
anyway, that's how the recollection happily happened...i wish i could spend more time with them still and i hope i don't losee communication with them....it's the best class ever..
holler back..
