So how exactly do I start this?. I honestly feel that I don 't have the spark to write like I used to back in the days when I look forward to blogging almost every day. Maybe it's time I stop But the other night at work, I stumbled upon a blog of a friend of mine and I was inspired to exert more effort into blogging. Maybe I'll try to insert pictures once in a while but the problem is, I don't have a decent camera to work with. The one on my phone sucks so I have to figure out a way to take pictures of stuff with my laptop's webcam. LOL. My mom has a digicam which I borrow once in a while but it's hard to borrow it from her. She always thinks I'm going to break it as if I'm still a small child. One more thing, Blogger's photo uploader is kinda hard to use. Everytime I upload a picture in the middle of typing, all that I've typed disappears so I have to start all over again. Also, if you notice, my URL has changed. I started hating my previous one so I decided to change it.

Earlier today, I was checking out my mini-cabinet and took out my old cassette tape/radio player. All this time, I thought it was still working. Unfortunately, I found out that it won't work anymore as I tried to use it. My main guess is that it's main problem is the power source or whatever you call that part where you install the battery.. It was a little rusty and I guess it just couldn't get the power out of the fairly new batteries that I've inserted. Sadly, I had to let it go and put it along my other junk. With the demise of my Walkman, it further adds to my desire to get a radio/cd player for my room. But don't I have an iPod? Yes I do! But it's different than listening to a radio. I get to discover new songs from the radio and listen conversations of the DJs and find out what's happening in the real world.Unlike the iPod which limits me to the songs I've just put. And, I don't want to overuse my iPod too much which I have been doing a lot.. So anyway, I tried to check out the malls to see if I can find one. After going around, I found a few from a few electronics stores and I canvassed the prices. It's not as expensive as I thought it would be. The price would fall under the P1-3K range which isn 't so bad. I don't need a high-end radio so I 'm sure I won't be getting those that are priced at above 3K. It would be a nice addition to my room which I've been trying to beautify since forever and a good way to make use of my cds which are just kept on the cabinet for safekeeping. Although I don't think I'll get myself one soon. Maybe sometime in July or August when I've saved more money which isn't really a lot right now which brings me to my job.

I know I've already talked about my job in this blog a couple of times already and you do know my plans. Well, I think I need to enumerate them as a summary.

1. The salary. It's way too low. It's not enough for me in the future. I'm still trying to spend as little as I can to save the rest to my savings. Trust me, I've never bought any piece of clothing ever since I started working early this year. That is surprising, especially since I'm the type who buys a lot of shirts. LOL.I have a lot of things that I want for myself which would also be beneficial in the long-time and not just a simple luxury, but I can't have it with this salary. I don't expect to get a job that's paying way to much but I at least want a job that won't make me worry a lot.

2. The working days. Just this past week, I got transferred to the night shift which I preferred but I'm back to the mid-day shift which is probably the worst shift we have and it really exhausts me. Plus, we work six days a week! With longer hours on weekends which doesn't give us much time to rest either.I guess I underestimated it when I took the job. To be fair, we work 8 hours only on weekdays unlike other companies that has 9 hours, although you won't really feel it since the travel time pretty much counts as well. So it doesn't lift any weight at all.

3. Health reasons. I think having earphones plugged into my ears are not really good for my hearing plus the insane scheds as I mentioned, is ruining my body clock, that is if I still have one. I'm always sleepy and my eye bags are just getting darker and bumpier. How sad.

4. Probably the most important, my career path. This job doesn't really make me excel as someone who graduated from college. Not that I want a harder job since my job is already hard and tiring, but I don't want to waste those precious years away, those that I've been ranting for 4 years at least. I think I deserve better than this and my family does as well.

On the plus side, I like the fact that we don't have any formal dress code. Just casual, sometimes, I even wear short, slippers and some t-shirt on which is really comfy. And, our building is not that far and just a jeep away from the mall and just a few steps from one of the most-visited clubs by my friends for drinking sessions. But that's not enough. I have to think big.

So enough about that rant about my job. That seems to be the only thing I'm talking about as if that was a great topic. As I said earlier, I've been trying to beautify my room. I've been doing that without trying to spend a lot and trying to recycle which I've done pretty much. I've even made a bracelet out of plastic bags and a bed headboard out of old blank cds. Maybe I'll dedicate an entire blog for my room sometime.

I'm still addicted to movies and series. I've been catching up as well as losing track on some of my fave shows.I've also bought movies almost every week so I can watch a new movie during my day off that I only get once a week so I have something to look forward to.

It's June which means I still have 4 more months to suck it up and to maintain my job. Wish me luck
