The latest installment in Rick Riordan's The Heroes of Olympus series, The Mark Of Athena, was just released a month ago and I've finished it within a week.
The story continues with the Demigods from the Greek camp arriving at the Roman camp where selected Demigods will join them for a quest set by the goddess Athena. The two camps have history and they are always against each other. However, the quest requires them to join forces which does not sit well with other members of the Roman camp.
The chosen demigods still go along on this quest. Seven demigods and a satyr must defy all pursuers and find a way to stop New Rome from being destroyed, find Nico di Angelo who is being held by giants and find the Mark of Athena.
Just like the previous books, the chapters are told in the point of view of each demigods. Since there are seven of them, not all of them get to have an equal share of their own chapter but that doesn't really matter. We get to see a peek of their own personality which I like.
Percy questions his leadership, Hazel,Leo and Frank are involved in a love triangle, Annabeth trying to figure out how to conquer a quest that no other child of Athena has done, among many other storylines in this book, will keep every fan enjoy the book.
The next sequel is set to be released next year and I can't wait for that!
