Lady Antebellum released their fifth studio album a few days ago. I'm not a huge fan of the group but I've enjoyed their previous two albums and anticipated this one.
Their first single is called Downtown which was a cute song that is perfect for radio. It's tinged with pop which seems to be a trend in the country genre and I'm not surprised they continued that route.
Like I said, I'm not a big fan but this album is a good country pop album. However, I don't feel much hype with this album as much as with their older ones.
Singles-wise, their previous albums stood out but with this one, it's hard to pick. No doubt that they are good but they can sound the same overall and one track doesn't shine over the other. The album feels rushed and uninspired but I have no problems with it. This is a decent album from them but country music fans would probably expect something better.
Top tracks: Downtown, Long Teenage Goodbye, It Ain't Pretty
