Merry Christmas to everyone!

Christmas wasn't so eventful this year but I'm not complaining.I got nice gifts and will probably get some more on New Year's eve from our dad's side of the family.

I got a couple of towels,a keychain,two bracelets,cash,stress reliever/hand exercise thingy(not sure what it's called) and a polo.

In just a few days, the year will end and I am just chilling through the last few days. I hope I'll have a better year next year.I can't wait what God has in store for me.:)

Still nothing much going on.
However, there's this company I applied to that's been contacting me. However, I don't think I'm ready to work yet so I'm not sure how to respond. I might ask to have the training and interview by next year if it would be all right.

It was our grandparents'(from dad's side} anniversary last Saturday and we ate at Fely J's in GB5. They served Filipino cuisine. The food were okay but I wish I got to taste more of their dishes.

I also got two new gym bags today. The other one I had broke when it was fairly new but this time, I got branded ones so they're more likely durable.

A lot of show I watch are currently on break which means I can catch up on sleep and reading my books which I plan to do right now....

This week was pretty good. Started out with my mom's birthday last Sunday. No fancy celebrations since my mom just arrived that day from a flight the day before. Just went to mass and had the usual macaroni and KFC chicken for meals at home.

The following day, we had lunch at People's Palace in Greenbelt 3 with my grandma, aunt and uncle. It was our first time there and my mom wanted to try it out after reading some good reviews. They served Thai food so I wasn't too keen on all the food on the menu but the ones I like were good. My mom invited us to have dessert in Conti's afterwards where we ate some of their delicious cakes. We finally parted ways with them since my aunt and grandma has to pick up my cousins from school and my uncle had to go back to work so we went to the gym and I caught one of my gym crushes there whom I haven't seen for quite some time!Hihihi.

When we went back to the gym on Wednesday, I noticed that one of the celebrities that my mom is friends with was also having his workout with my mom's PT and the PT asked me to approach him since he was giving something to my mom. So we did and my mom introduced me to the celebrity, I won't name who it is yet.

Also, I received my skittles pouches. The picture is posted above.

Lastly, Taylor Swift's new video is out and you might want to check it out: http://www.twitvid.com/G3ZKK

Not much to update.

Tomorrow, we'll have a video shoot for my uncle's wedding and it's something like Sara Bareilles' video for Uncharted where we'll lip sync for a song.

In other news, I used up all my ten sessions with my trainer in the gym so I can do whatever I want from now on. Hopefully, I will still get to do the right exercise/routines to keep my body grow bigger.

Also, I discovered that I have a wisdom tooth growing on my lower left side of my mouth. It's not painful but I read some scary stuff on the net so I don't know what to do about it. Maybe I should have it extracted before it gets worse..

Belated Happy Halloween everyone!

I hope everyone had a good one. I miss celebrating it like how we used to when I was young. The thrill of conceptualizing what or who will I dress up to is just so exciting, and nowadays, I'm usually just stuck at home while reading updates on how other people celebrated Halloween.

I did get to go out when we had dinner with my relatives at Ayala Triangle to celebrate my aunt's birthday. On Halloween day, I just spent it working out at the gym which is going well btw. I saw a very hunky guy who seems I'll get along with if we had a chance to meet.

I'm still a bum and though I love it, I feel the pressure so I really need to find something to do that will benefit me financially and personally.

A few months ago, I was watching a movie and a trailer of a movie starring Hugh Jackman came up. It was an action movie that had something to do with robots but it did not had any impact to me and I completely ditched it as a movie I'll just watch on DVD or wait for its showing on cable TV. Fast forward to last weekend, I got myself to watch that movie, and it was only because there were no other movies I was interested to watch, well The Three Musketeers were also showing but it was on 3D which was quite expensive and the non-3D has already passed the running time I wanted when I arrived so I had no other choice.

The movie was called Real Steel and it's about the father and son relationship as they compete in "robot wrestling". It tells the story of Charlie, played by Hugh, finding out he has a child, Max, and how their relationship grew closer through the sport and proving that it's not too late to make up for lost time. It's not just a copycat of Transformers but it is more than that. You can see how Charlie has completely matured to become a father everyone would love to have, including myself. I have to admit that I got teary-eyed which isn't a normal thing for me. The last time I had was when I watched Toy Story 3 last year.

This is definitely one of the best movies I've seen this year.

Another week passed by and I've finished 3 PT sessions with my trainer. It was very exhausting but I can see some improvements on my body!

Another thing that gets me going is that in a span of a week, I've seen a handful of eye candies already!

I can't wait to see more!

So after a week, I've underwent three sessions with a trainer at the gym and I can't believe I actually like it.

Monday was my first day. Me and my mom arrived early and I got introduced to my personal trainer. He was still busy with another client so he made me do cardio exercise at the treadmill for around 30 mins. He introduced me to the different equipment/machines that the gym offers and that's where our session ended. I still have time to explore the gym since we finished quite early and my mom attended a class so I took the opportunity to try out the equipment and also left the gym to buy an armband for my iPod. Btw, I borrowed the wireless Sony MP3 from my mom so I could listen to music at ease. I managed to buy an armband at Park Square at a cheap price. I took a shower after and I actually thought someone stole my underwear at the locker so I kinda got pissed but I just misplaced it when I searched for it at home. Good thing I have extra. The shower doors didn't have a lock which I thought was just a damage but my mom told me it was really meant to be that way so I was still hesitant to take a shower but I went through it just fine. I got to use the papaya soap my grandma gave me for Christmas!I also saw some celebrities that day and the following days!

Tuesday. I went with my mom again and that day, the trainer just performed some tests on me so he can make a program for me based on the results which was mostly poor. It was quite embarrassing to know the results so I really have to work my butt off. Nothing eventful after it and I just continued trying out the equipment.

Wednesday. Restday.

Thursday. My mom had work so I went to the gym alone this time. The trainer gave me a program to follow and I have to admit I'm a little disappointed pretty much because I felt like the program was underwhelming. I do not get to use all equipment I like and just the few ones with the program. Though I can disregard it, I have signed up for a 10 sessions of 1 on 1 training with him so I might as well follow it at least while I'm supervised. I finished quite longer this time though since he lost my original file and I had to fill out some personal details again. I scheduled the start of our sessions on Monday next week and I can't wait for that!

Yesterday, my mom finally enrolled me in the gym. I've been thinking of working out and I'm finally going to start by next week! I'm still a little scared especially since my body is nothing to be proud of and I just can't imagine myself carrying some weights. I'm worried my back will limit me to certain equipment though, during my pre-employment medical exam, the results showed I had dextroscoliosis. I don't know how reliable the clinic was but I won't be surprised if it was actually true. I've been searching the net for some exercises that a person with scoliosis can do and I found some that could be helpful.

I signed up for their ongoing promo, I won't discuss the whole details since it was my mom who coordinated but basically, I have 180 visits for 1 year. That's pretty good since I don't exactly plan to go there everyday.

It's funny that my mom goes there to lose weight and I'll go there to gain weight. I should probably expect my body to have some muscle pains from then on. I already got some gym clothes but I don't have shoes yet since most of the footwear I have are sneakers and flip-flops.Hah!

In other news, Astrovision/Astroplus is having a great cd sale. They were selling some old and some recent releases for such a low price. Some of them are event discounted for more than 50% so that's quite a catch!I already got 2 cds and I would have bought more if I have some additional money.

I'm thinking of going to the mall again this Saturday since both of my parents are not at home but let's just see what happens.

All Time Low
Get Dirty. Do Work.
Sept. 22, 2011
Araneta Coliseum

I have been waiting for this day since I found out about it last July and it did not disappoint.

When I was still working, I was already thinking of an excuse for skipping work but since I resigned, it made things easier.

I was unfortunate to miss the cd signing that was held the day before because it was held in SM North EDSA which is very far from my house so I didn't bother to go and just watched out for updates online. A lot of people came to the signing as based on pictures so I anticipated a big crowd on the show itself. Luckily, I have reserved seats.

The week before, my mom got me an ATL shirt and I found one of those ballers with the word "Hustler" which is the term for ATL fans so I already have my concert outfit! It's the first time I wore an official merchandise of an artist to their own show so it just shows my anxiety towards the event!

I arrived at the venue around 6 pm and decided to have early dinner at Gateway since the food inside the Coliseum was overpriced. I had a quick meal at KFC then decided to check the lines outside if there was one already and I was greeted by a line of young fans who's eagerly waiting for the show. Around 6:30 pm, they started to open the gates so I fell in line. There was a booth near the entrance selling some ATL shirts which was expensive so I didn't bother to buy.

As I waited in my seat, I noticed the place wasn't really full unlike what they advertised. In fact, there are a lot of seats in the upper boxes. They should have brought down the people who was on the farthest part of the place.

The show started late. It was already around 8:40pm when the front act, Typecast, started and they finished a bunch of songs and ended past 9 pm. The crowd's shouts were getting louder as time passes by and the backdrop was being lifted into the air.

The lights finally dims and Art of State starts playing and people start going crazy. The band finally comes out and starts Playing Do You Want Me (Dead?) as I take pictures with my camera. They followed it up with a bunch of their songs such as Damned If I Do Ya, Forget About It,Jasey Rae and Poppin' Champagne. During the intervals, they told us that it was their first time to headline a crowd like ours and even Jack said it was the show of their career. That was very flattering and I'm sure everybody felt honored. I just hope they really meant it and not just some random thing they say to a crowd they perform to for the first time. They started playing more tracks from their latest album, Dirty Work, with Time-bomb and Guts. Jack started introducing the next song by saying that the next song was sung by the fans who greeted them at the airport and they started singing Six Feet Under The Stars. They followed it up with I Feel Like Dancin' and Coffee Shop Soundtrack. They slowed it down by playing Sick Little Games and left Alex to perform Therapy, but before that, Alex was sharing how great it feels when their music helps other people which is nice to hear because that means they still care about their listeners and they're not just your typical stereotype band that talks only about sex, drugs and violence. We all sang along, like pretty much what we were doing since the start, and Alex continued the sing along by playing Teenage Dream and Remembering Sunday which is one of their most well-known and touching songs. He let us sing the female part of the song and he was just genuinely awed and amazed by the crowd. He left the stage after which meant the end for the main part of the show. The whole band returned a few minutes after for the encore and ended the show with Lost In Stereo, Weightless and Dear Maria, Count Me In. The show ended around 10: 45pm and I went home afterwards by bus which is my second time to do so.

It was a night I will never forget and they did promise to come back in the future and I'm definitely looking forward for that one. Best night of the year so far!
Dear ATL, Count me in!

Saturday, September 24, 2011

As I mentioned in the previous post, I was already thinking of resigning early, and as of last week, I did.

It was a struggle for me, not because I wanted to stay more, but because I didn't include my parents in making my decision and they just found out the day I resigned. It was foolish on my part but I couldn't really handle the company anymore. I will do try to find a good company to work for.

I will miss the people I met during my stay and shall never forget the experience and info I have learned about the industry.

In my 3-month stay, I have been to a photoshoot, stepped foot in Trinoma and NAIA terminal 3 for the first time, handled a mascot tour(luckily, I didn't wear it!), attended the annual Cosmo Bash and a lot more, but more importantly, I really had a "work" and not just a job that I have to go to everyday like my first job.

Now, I hope I can use this time to really reflect on life and figure out what I want to do, realistically.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of a tragedy that marked the whole world and left many people dead. I just want to take this opportunity to say that my prayers goes out to all families and loved ones that has been left behind by the victims of 9/11.

I am facing the possibility of resigning earlier than expected. Last week, we had our usual pending meeting with the team and before the meeting ends, me and my boss had a moment alone and she basically gave me a lifeline and all she had to do was just tell me to quit(of course she didn't say that, but it was implied.) I'm not gonna disclose what exactly happened but she was giving me a free ticket to freedom and I was almost thinking of getting the bait.

I don't have plans of staying in the company for a long time but I was hoping that I'd get to finish my 6-months probationary contract. I have not made up my mind on what to do, I'm more afraid of telling my parents about it. I can accept resigning from the company but I can't handle disappointing them.

Thanks to my aunt, I got free movie passes for a movie of my choice. Unfortunately, they'll expire by tomorrow so I had to use them either today or tomorrow. I have two so I decided to use one of them earlier today.

So as I arrived in the theaters, I checked out which one I'd watch. I had limited choices though since the movie pass couldn't be used for movies with reserved seating which narrowed down my choices. I ended up watching One Day which is one of the two choices I wanted. I could have watched Crazy Stupid Love but the screening time was still later in the afternoon and I wanted to go back home early so I could rest and I know there will be traffic at night due to the majority of people going back to the city to officially end the long weekend.

I like the both lead actors, Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. However, I feel like there is something lacking in the movie. The movie was based on a novel which I haven't read so I don't know how the story went according to the book, but in the movie, it was a little hard to relate to the characters and the transition to another scene was not handled well. The movie showed what was happening to the two main characters at a specific date every year, thus, the many development changes. Some were not so believable though and it almost got to a point where it was dragging and pretty boring. I've read that the movie stayed faithful to the book and tried to put everything in the movie but that is probably one of the reasons that it did not turn out the way it should have been. But the movie is still good and I can't say it's a bad romantic film.

I'm currently facing a dilemma right now. Certain developments has made me wonder if I should resign from work. It seems like I am not improving, especially in my standards. I don't feel satisfied with the work output I am giving and I have no motivation to work anymore. I simply look forward to getting out of the office everyday. Not that I have high expectations but I don't see the point in working if I can't work up to my maximum capabilities. The company has its own internal problems that won't help me grow in the long run and though it would look good on my resume if I stated that I helped the company improve, that wouldn't happen anytime soon and I am looking at the prospect of getting out while I still can. The only problem I am concerned about is the life after. I'll most likely be back to being an unproductive bum like I was in the first half of the year. Though I miss that lifestyle, I am not sure if going back to that state will be good as it is never good to be doing nothing. Hopefully, God will give me a sign of what to do.

1 month in my current office and still kicking!

It's been pretty good. Though there was a time last week when I felt I should resign. But things got a little better and I made it past a month. I'm still targeting to last a year in the company and my main concern now is that the company terminates me before I decide to leave.

Just this week, one of my officemate had decided to go AWOL. She told us that day already and almost everyone knew except for our boss who would have prevented her if she found out. I wouldn't blame her for going AWOL, she already tried to resign but they refused to allow her and our boss just keeps on giving us reasons to feel bad and she couldn't take it anymore. I feel bad for her but I wish her well. I don't mean to put our boss in a negative light but as much as she can be friendly, she can be cruel. Also, there are a lot of politics in the office and a lot of issues going around. I don't understand the nerve of some people to do powertripping when it's such a small company.

That is my small update for now.

Another week passed by and not much to talk about except that I'm getting very haggard from all the stress I get and lack of sleep.

This week, I finally took care of my BPI account for my payroll and I am just annoyed by how long my name is. My middle initial and surname did not even fit in the card. I'm worried it might be a problem in the future.

The weather has been insane this week. I almost got stranded last Thursday, to think that the storm that went by wasn't a super typhoon yet. It was already raining since the start of the week then last Thursday, we had a meeting with a client at Rockwell and we headed home at around 6PM but me and my officemate who I was going with since we both ride in Ayala couldn't ride a taxi but fortunately, our boss offered us a ride and drop us off at the MRT station in Guadalupe. The traffic north bound was very heavy and it took us almost an hour just to get to the station. After we parted ways in the Ayala MRT station, I still caught my mom at the line which was very long. It turns out several places were flooded which is why some of the vehicles were delayed and some shuttles couldn't go back to the terminal immediately. It took us two hours waiting in line to buy a card for the shuttle then another two hours for the trip home since traffic was still heavy at that time. But at that point, we were still lucky. Other places were damaged more. Even some of the people in our office couldn't get home and some stayed til midnight while some stayed overnight. I heard there were even twisters that hit some cities early afternoon yesterday. But earlier today, the sun started to shine again so I'm glad about that.

Saturday, June 18, 2011

It's been two weeks since I started to work for the company. It's okay so far, the job is very different from my previous work and I'm still trying to adjust.

But the people are nice and helpful which helps lighten up my mood and attitude towards work. Even though if there are problems in the working environment and the management, I'm surviving. I'm hoping I could last in this company for even a year.

I have my own desk which I didn't have in my first job. Though one of the drawers is locked because the previous person who used my table took the key. I don't know how I can personalize it though. It feels so plain and boring. But then it's not like I get paid big to spend a lot on making my office area so beautiful.

I'm kinda disappointed with the speed/slowness of our net and the eating area since it is not air conditioned which means we have to eat under warm temperature.

But enough about my work for now.

Last Wednesday, I had a very bad experience. My phone got stolen while I was riding on the jeep on the way to the office. I realized it after the guy sitting beside me went down from the jeep. I didn't know what to do and I tried not to panic and just vent it out when I got to the office. The phone was my mom's old phone but it was still in good condition and I really liked that phone. Good thing I don't text a lot but there are still some important numbers and messages listed there.

So yesterday, I got my mom to buy me a new phone which was a Samsung Champ. It's my first time to use a Samsung so I was quite hesitant but I have no right to be picky and it was one of the cheapest decent phone I could find. I went to a Globe service center earlier today and got my cellphone number back which I didn't know is possible. So now I got my old number back. How I wish it could also retrieve all the information on my old sim card. I still have to buy a memory stick and the usb cable that connects the phone to the computer.

I watched Super 8 last week and Green Lantern today. I kinda fell asleep in both, but that's because I was so tired from work. Speaking of movies, my dvd player bonked out again for the nth time.I hope it gets fixed so I don't have to get a new one..

I also went to DLSU last Thursday to celebrate its centennial year!It was great to see the campus again though I didn't see a lot of familiar faces:(

Wednesday, June 01, 2011

I am so torn right now. I finally found a job and they've chosen me in one of the positions they were looking for but there are several things that are already working against my favor.

The office is not so good. The building looks so old, out of place, it is so hot inside because there is no central airconditioning, my potential future boss looks bitchy and so on. In other words, the working environment is not pleasant.

The salary is a little bit higher than my previous job but it's way lower than what I expected at least, to think that my salary expectations were already too low.

I'm supposed to start as a probationary employee so I'm gonna give credit to that and hope that it will get better after some months.

The job requires me to go to different places, mostly to meet clients. I don't have a car so that means I'll have to use public transportation. The HR is not even sure if there will be allowance to be given but reassures that reimbursement will be given, but my main concern will be what about public transportation that does not have receipts or any kind of proof to show that I rode in the transportation like jeepneys or the trains? My money might not be returned, and my salary will be wasted. If only my salary was higher, I could have saved up for a car and I won't have this problem.

Another thing is my pre-employment requirements. Though it's my fault, it's probably a sign. I have already done my medical and got my baranggay clearance this week. I tried to get NBI clearance earlier but I have to get it back on Monday next week, and the HR wants me to submit everything by Friday this week. I also have to take care of my SSS by tomorrow and I'm not even sure where to get it. Hopefully, I finish it by the morning.

I need to finish this as I'm terribly tired and sleepy. I hope I could update this soon with good news!

Saturday, April 16, 2011

In my previous post, I mentioned that I had an upcoming interview. I would love to post that I got in but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Not because I failed but because the interview never went through. I received a text message informing me that my interview has been moved to another date and they'll keep me informed. In my mind, I already knew that it's most likely cancelled. Now I'm still looking for a job and continues to submit my resume everywhere.I'm still hoping they would contact me for an interview but I'm not really keeping my hopes up for that company.

Tuesday, April 05, 2011

I woke up early yesterday to watch Wrestlemania on cable. I was still feeling groggy but good thing I stayed awake. A phone call was also made that morning and it was from one of the companies I applied for. To be honest, I kinda forgot that I did apply in the company but I'm still happy they called. It was a little bit embarrassing to the caller though, our maids were shouting in the room so I couldn't hear her properly. I also panicked when I found out the interview was already on Thursday. When she asked me if I'm available on that day and time, I kept saying "I think so" until I realized that was a stupid answer before I said yes. I just hope she forgets about it. This will be my first formal interview ever without the help of anyone. The last time I had a job interview was for my previous company and I didn't feel as pressured since this new company I'm applying for is in a different industry, and to be honest again, I have no experience in the position I applied for. But I am really interested to work so I am praying that the company would be good, and most of all, that I am accepted.

As a bum, aside from regularly checking on websites and waiting for companies to call, I have to find something to do to keep me busy. Now that shows are on break, I have found an alternative which is to read!I've always loved reading pocketbooks and I haven't been able to read a lot since I don't spend a lot on books and so I figured I would start downloading e-books or pdf files of books I'm interested to read. I've downloaded around ten books this past two weeks.. I created this blog to make a checklist.

(X) I Am Number Four
(X) Elixir
(X) Percy Jackson books 1-5
() The Perks of Being a Wallflower
() The Lost Hero
() The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd 1-5
() Beastly
() The Children of the Red King 1-7

That's all the ones I downloaded so far. I'm currently reading "The Perks...". If I don't get tired, I should probably finish it by tonight. I'm starting off with books that has movie adaptrations and some books that I find interesting. I figured I have a fascination for fantasy books. I'm thinking of adding The Chronicles of Narnia series or Artemis Fowl to the list if I find pdf files of the books.

If only reading books could earn me some cash. I'm still eagerly waiting for a job to land on my hands. I've applied to 14 companies so far.

In other news, I had my first visit to the dermatologist the other day. I was only supposed to accompany my mom but I decided to have the pimple on my nose checked which has been bugging me since last week. I was scared at first especially because of the injection but in the end, it turned out fine.

Finding a job is so frustrating. Now I feel what my friends felt when they were looking for their first job. I had it quite easy since I immediately got mine after a friend offered it to me. So now that I'm doing it on my own, I feel s clueless. I sent my resumes to different companies and I only got two responses, one of them telling me to apply via walk-in while the other one is rejection. To make it worse, those two companies are not really the ones I really want.

This morning when my mom arrived home from her flight to the US, she told me that a former senator was her passenger and when he inquired about her having kids and finding out I was unemployed, he told my mom if I wanted to go to Spain(or Mexico) to study Spanish! I thought it was going to be for a job but just to study the language. It was a nice thought since I'd get to travel and learn a new language but I'm afraid that it's just going to be another excuse of not getting a job. My passport is expired anyway but maybe I should consider it.

In other news, time flies so fast that it's my younger siblings' farewell party tomorrow which means it's their last day of school and they're gonna be at home most of the summer and internet's gonna be slow for the whole day. That would mean slower downloads and streams for me.

Lastly, my heart goes out to Japan. It is saddening to hear the horrific tragedies they have experienced in just a short span of time and reading some sad stories really makes me feel how much they have suffered. Let's all pray for the country and to the entire world.

After 4 years, another great show has come to an end. I'm so sad that Greek is now ending.I remember watching this back in college after being recommended by my blockmate. The dvd I bought didn't even work on my previous dvd player so I had to borrow my mom's dvd player just to watch the entire season 1 and 2.

It is seriously one of the best teen shows I've seen where characters actually grow and change and doesn't just pass along partners to every other cast. I can't believe I kinda thought about stopping to watch the show and I'm glad it didn't.

It is sad to see the KTT house be destroyed. So may great memories in that house. Also glad to find out Cappie's real name, Dale and Laura hooking up, Rebecca, being a character to love and hate at the same time, but more on love, Rusty and Ashleigh in each other's arms, etc. There's just so many things this show has to offer and it's sad they can't continue anymore.

In other news, I've been sending out my resumes to different companies, even signed up on jobstreet, which I'm surprised that I already have an account and I don't remember signing up last year. Unfortunately, no one has responded yet. It's getting frustrating.:( I really hope that I'll find the right job for me ASAP.

Speak Now Tour. Feb. 19, 2011. Araneta Coliseum

I woke up yesterday morning still feeling groggy from the previous night's mall show with three awesome bands: never shout never, The Maine and WEtheKings at Greenbelt 5. With my voice still not fully recovered from all the shouting and with both my knees still painful from the long hours of standing up, I told myself there is no way I will back out now.

So I woke up and went on the computer, still hesitant if I should start doing my show chores and decided to watch Smallville's latest episode. Simultaneously, I was checking updates on online forums and on twitter for tonight's event. My hopes were dampened when I found out a long line was already formed at the entrance of Araneta even before I woke up so I decided that there's no use in rushing since I'll basically have bad seats anyway.

I went with my mom to Makati and rode the MRT going to Araneta. I arrived at around 3PM. As expected, the lines were already in a twisted snake like formation and I decided I'll go eat at Gateway first and hang out cause I can't compete with the other die hard fans and sit for hours.

I grabbed some snacks at Wendy's, tried to find people I know but was unfortunate, had a hard time looking for free toilets( I wonder why there's a lot of pay toilets even in Farmer's Plaza!), strolled at different stores repeatedly until I decided to fall in line at around 5:15PM. The line got even longer and it was up to the streets so I had to line up. The gates opened earlier than usual and it took me at least 45 minutes before I got to enter because of the rowdy crowd and a bunch of people cutting lines which the security didn't handle well.

I rushed as soon as I entered the place and got disappointed when most of the seats were already taken. I settled for a seat at the extreme left of the stage, almost at the back, but good enough to see the performer, the only minus factor is the fact that we can see what's going on behind the curtains so there is no surprise factor and we can't see what actually is on the screen so we have to look at the hanging small screens at the middle.

There was abouit an hour or 2 to kill. Good thing I brought my iPod so I listened to music, watched some videos and played some games as the place slowly got congested with loud and wild Taylor fans. My uncle texted me and informed me they were in the general admission area and offered to give me a ride home which made me glad that I don't have to face the fear of riding the bus home. As 8PM struck, the lights went out and the lights from the lightsticks glowed heavily and deafening sounds of screams and flashes of the cameras filled the stadium.

Sam Concepcion emerged from the curtain and started the show with a cover of Chris Brown's Yeah3X. He was joined with dancers in most of the numbers. He also performed Kung Fu Fighting, Even If and Katy Perry's Firework. I have to admit, that even though I'm not a fan, he was quite good and had good dancing skills. Not to mention he was wearing cool shoes.

The crowd was very energetic and continued chanting Taylor's name even after he left. Everybody was expecting that Taylor will come out soon after Sam's performance but we had to wait approximately 45 minutes before she started. During the break, several celebrities such as Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda, Raymond Gutierrez, Solenn Heussaff, Sam Milby,Kim Chiu,Ruffa Gutierrez among others, started to appear and the crowd goes wild, leaving some fans believe Taylor has already appeared. The crowd was still noisy, as if they weren't tired from waiting outside the stadium.

Finally, the time has come. A short introduction appeared on stage as I prepared my camera ready to take some pictures.

The curtains started to raise as the tune of Sparks Fly blasted on the speakers and wails and screams got louder! Taylor appeared standing on top of the stage which was designed to have two floors and the bottom stage has a T-shaped mini stage extended in front to go nearer to the fans, with a moshpit beside it. She wore a shiny gold dress which she loves to wear.

The crowd knew every word and sang along as Taylor continued to perform and continue doing her trademark hair whipping and waist gyrating, if that's the right term. After the opening song, she stood there in front just looking at the audience. She just stared at the crowd for a minute or two and looked like she was going to cry of happiness from the scene right in front of her. She then joined her band and continued with her lead single from her album, Mine. The crowd sang along with her all throughout the show.

She talked about a lot of stuff in the middle of her performances like how she writes about love and heartbreak, and even squeezed in some tagalog words like Kamusta ka, Mahal ko kayo, Salamat and Magandang Gabi which won the hearts of everybody watching. She proceeded to sing The Story Of Us before heading to the piano to sing Back To December with a mash-up of Apologize and ended it with You're Not Sorry. A buzzing telephone at the background was heard in the audio as Taylor proceeded to sing the second song presumed to be about Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle, Better Than Revenge and the crowd just got intense.

She went to the back of the stage and appeared once again in a new costume, a blue dress as two of her female band members wore matching pink dresses and sang Speak Now in a cute routine.

After that song, her band members have gone off the stage as Taylor just sat there with a microphone and a staff handed her a ukulele. There was a problem with the mic stand so she continued to talk to the audience as it was being fixed quickly. She finally started strumming the guitar as she sang Fearless with the ukulele, in between the verses, during the breaks, she strummed along to the une of Hey Soul Sister with the matching He-hey,He-he-he-he-hey. She broke out to singing a verse of Jason Mraz' I'm Yours which was another crowd favorite before closing out the song.

She switched guitars, gave a little spiel and started to sing Fifteen which was reminiscent of her performance at a past Country Award show in the US. I just forgot which show it was.

For the next song, Taylor asked the crowd to sang with her as she started singing the chorus of the worldwide hit, You Belong With Me as the crowd's screams did not die down and even got a notch higher. In the middle of the song, Taylor went down the stage and shook hands of the fans and even took a bouquet of flowers given by the fans. How I wished I was in the VIP section.

The aura suddenly went down as Taylor sat on the stairs on the stage and a beautiful backdraft appeared on screen. At that moment, everybody felt Taylor's sincerity as she sang Dear John. At the end of the song, she belted out some notes which was quite impressive and should shut up the haters' mouths.

She has gone off backstage again as one of the female band members entertained the crowd while playing the violin to the tune of Enchanted. Once the crowd picked up the song she was playing, they started to sing the song. The band member was quite surprised with the reaction as evident with a smile she was not able to keep. She was given an applause by the crowd as smoke started to come out of the stage, creating a fog effect and Taylor comes out in a beautiful gown and started to sing Enchanted, a favorite, not only by the crowd but her entire fanbase in general. She gave a very emotional performance and hit all the right notes perfectly before ending it and revealing a shorter sparkling silver dress beneath it and gave a closing speech and introduced the band members and told the crowd how much they love Manila. She dedicated the next song to us fans and in the next minutes, cheers for Long Live was heard. She and the band members quickly made an exit from the stage leaving chants of We Want More! from the enormous crowd that filled up most of the coliseum. The band started to appear once again as the tune of Love Story suddenly made fans spring up from their seats eagerly anticipating Taylor's return. After she finishes the song, she made one last round of greeting the fans at every corner before dropping off from the stage to the back, catched by the crew with a blanket.

Though it was short and she did not sing a lot of my favorite songs, I still got my money's worth seeing Taylor live in person. Even her speaking voice sounds different even though I've heard it a lot on tv/internet. I really cannot wait until she comes back. I hope there was no T-Party( a party with Taylor, her crew and some selected fans held after shows) because I was not there.Heehee.

I finally met up with my cousins as I got out of the long lines to the exit and got home an hour before midnight and started uploading pictures and watched the latest Supernatural epiosde which I could not focus on with my head still high, and forever will be after seeing the one and only.

Oh Taylor Swift, it was enchanting to meet you.

Remember the business advertising agency I was talking about? Well I was able to set up a briefing after I contacted him yesterday and got confirmation this morning. Much to my dismay, the office is somewhere in QC, near ABS-CBN but it's worth a shot. However, I am worried that it may be a scam. I've been searching the net for background check and though it looks decent, I believe it is some sort of multinational marketing scheme or a pyramid scheme and I don't think I want to be part of that. I'm just hoping they are offering other jobs since they seem to be credible have connections with other media companies so maybe I could get some connections from them if it doesn't work out. I just have to figure out how to go to the venue.

The 53rd Grammy Awards was just aired this morning on tv and I was anticipating for it. I woke up just in time to catch it on Star World. It's disappointing that they didn't air the red carpet but the important thing is they aired the main show on time.

The show started with five ladies in music with big pipes, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welsch, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams. There performance was a tribute to Aretha Franklin who is said to be healing from a major disease. The performance did not dissapoint. After the lyric flub during the superbowl, Xtina redeemed herself with an excellent rendition of "Ain't NO Way". The other ladies performed well too. The rest of the show went good. A lot of good performances from Muse,Mick Jagger,Lady Antebellum,Miranda Lambert,Arcade Fire and surprisingly, Katy Perry. Though I would have preferred if some performers didn't perform at all.

But the good thing about the show this year is that I like most of the winners. Lady Antebellum almost sweeped their awards but their celebration was spoiled by Arcade Fire who surprised everybody and went home with the last award, Album of the Year which was won by Taylor Swift last year. Eminem had one of the biggest disappointments as he only got 2 out of 10 awards. Another major loser was Katy Perry who went home without any Grammys. Perhaps the biggest upset was a relatively unknown Esperanza Spalding winning it out against crowd favorite Justin Bieber, which made his fans angry to sabotage her wikipedia page.

Overall, the show did not really disappoint except for some nominations and I'm hoping that Taylor will be able to replicate her Grammy success next year with Speak Now.

So another post to rant. Internet this week has gone wacked. It's too slow. It started when our internet provider had a downtime two weeks ago and after that, things were fine until a couple of days when it got really slow. It would take me 4 hours to finish an episode and I have so many shows too watch. I tried connecting the laptop directly to the modem/router with the cable but there's not a big improvement. It looks like I have to buy dvds after all after the seasons end.

Today, I opened my facebook and was surprised to see a message from a business advertising company looking for interested applicants for marketing and other stuff like modelling, photoshoots. That was weird since I don't have the looks at all but the message did say that they were looking for new people to join their advertising team so I might try to apply for that.

I'll be attending Taylor's concert next week and I am really excited. However, I saw the setlist and it is quite a letdown. It's so short, even her previous tour was better. Nonetheless, I'm still anticipating to see her. Nonetheless, I am also looking forward to a mall show the day before the concert where some bands are performing, especially The Maine.

That is all for now.

My birthday has past last week and I didn't get to celebrate it in a grand way but at least I got to chill and eat a lot of food here at home.

During the weekend, my grandma celebrated her birthday and my ninang from the US came back here for a visit so we had dinner at grandma's house with some relatives and then we went to Resort World where I got to play casino for the first time!My bet was only a hundred bucks and I went home with P157 so it's not that bad, though I wish I had beginner's luck.

The following day, we left home early and had lunch at Yakimix in Greenbelt and I can't believe how great the foods is. It's definitely a resto everyone should check out. At least this branch, not the one in MOA cause I heard the one in MOA is not nice at all.

So American Idol is back and the judges have been doing well so far but they're letting too many average singers through Hollywood round which is kinda disappointing. Another show that's back is Skins and I loved the first episode of the new season. The new OTH episode is good too!

This past two to three days, I've spent a lot of time online looking for jobs online. I'm still unsuccessful looking for the right one but I'm optimistic that I will find one soon.

I guess I have to work on my resume soon.

We attended the birthday party of our great grandma who turned 89 years old yesterday. It was in a clubhouse in Pasig. Saw some relatives, most of them I don't even know.Hehe.

Today is my cousin's birthday, and next week will be my bnirthday and my grandma's birthday. Wow. Too many January birthdays and my birthday's the one that won't be celebrated.:(

2011 is not exactly starting the way I want it to be. It's still pretty early so I hope it gets better.

I'm going to try and get an NBI clearance on Thursday so hopefully, that will motivate me to start looking for a job which I should start soon.

I tried to drive again last week and it's pretty much the same. Parking is still hard for me.

Several shows are also returning so that got me busy.

It's hard for me to sleep nowadays. I should start sleeping early and stop ruining my body clock.

Happy New Year!

I guess my attempt to blog some more this year have failed. So this year, maybe I can try once again.

Though this year wasn't amazing as I would like it to be, knowing that there aren't any much particular events that really made an impact on my memory aside from a few things, I already accepted the fact that 2010 wasn't really a good year for me even back then.

Graduating from college, driving lessons and attending some awesome concerts are the highlights of my year. Not to mention getting a job which have gave me both high and low moments that would hopefully inspire me to get a better job. And speaking of a job, it's already January and I should start looking for a new job already. I kinda found a job that I might apply for already though I plan to take care of some government papers first. Yup, those papers that I keep on talking about like SSS, etc. which I still haven't accomplished yet. I should do it this January so I could start applying.

Our Christmas eve and New Year's eve celebrations this year was okay. I'm surprised I only got one shirt this holiday season. I got some nice gifts that I should be thankful for. I haven't asked my mom for anything this Christmas cause I always thought that I'll just ask her to help me out in buying a car but I guess I should work my ass off and let my social life suffer to earn that.

I guess I should save some more stories on future updates:P
