It's September and not only does it mean that the countdown to Christmas begins in the Philippines, but it's also the time to grab some popcorn head over to the couch and watch some good o'l shows coming back to you screen or in my case, to my laptop screen.
While True Blood ended, a bunch of programs are returning. But speaking of True Blood, the finale was disappointing and not that great. The cliffhanger wasn't even that good.Overall, I think this is the weakest season they've produced.
The first returning show was The Vampire Diaries. Unlike TB, VD was actually good. I liked how the season started and Katherine, the enemy, was really a bitch! Damon's snarky remarks and badass attitude was still there and Stefan, well, just okay. I'm excited to see what happens to Caroline on the next episode.
Earlier,l Gossip Girl and 90210 made their return as well. I love the fact that we didn't get to see a lot of Chuck in the first episode of GG and also, Katie Cassidy started her appearance. I didn't know she joined the cast since I'm not so updated with the show during the break. I think they're setting her up to be Gossip Girl though I doubt that she's actually the mysterious person sending all the juicy details about the rich kids in the Upper East side. 90210 started good as well. It continued with the storyline left in the previous season and opened up potential new storylines this season. It seems like Annie might be in a good situation with the internship that looks shady. And I can't wait until Teddy's storyline this season unfolds.
But if there's one thing that these shows made me realize, it's that we need a new router asap. You see, our current router has a broken antenna so the signal coverage is not that good. I'm worried for the upcoming weeks since a lot of shows are going to return and it's going to be difficult for me to keep up with these shows if the net is slow.
I guess I need to add that one again to my list of needs.
