12/25/12-Christmas

My Christmas this year was quiet. I wouldn't say I was lonely but I did not capture the spirit of Christmas this year. I am never the festive type who looks forward to this event annually but I still looked forward to this season in the past but it has changed this year.

I can't pinpoint a reason but it probably has something to do with how terrible my life has been this year that would make me wish the world did end a couple of days ago. I've realized how I've been completely useless for more than a year and not accomplishing what I want to do. But I digress. 

Despite all the tragedies and catastrophes that I have encountered and also all around the world, Christmas still went smoothly this year.

We celebrated Christmas eve at my grandparents' house in Libis like we always do with my relatives. My grandma prepared some good food that I found myself digging in. It wasn't as many as what other people have prepared on their feast based on pictures I've been seeing but it's ok. There was lasagna,spaghetti,embotido,shrimp,fruit salad,potato salad, and a couple more. We had some picture taking before we actually went through with the exchange of gifts.

I got some Aviator glasses, a shirt(I surprisingly got only one!),handkerchiefs, a belt (It almost doesn't fit, it could only reach one hole),money and a toiletry bag from IKEA.

This morning, I also received some gifts from my Ninang in the US. She gave me an Old Navy shirt and a Chronicle DVD.

I'm still expecting around 4 more gifts on New Year's eve when we meet with our relatives from my father's side but I'm not expecting much from that and just hope I get some much needed money. :p

Also, I hope to spend some serious time at the gym especially with the food I've been eating!LOL!
